Living with Love
July 4th, 2016
Can one ignore the suffering of others and still love their family? Is a person loving if they scorn with one hand and love with the other? There is no love in sacrificing your family in order to help others. To sacrifice your family is to then sacrifice those you are seeking to help. Love is mutual and interconnected – we cannot have one without the other. Family is essential for a life well lived and life’s demands should seldom tear you away from family. Yet, family should not tear you away from life. There is a balance. Each life is lived at once in this present moment.
Live life in a spirit of interconnectedness.
There are many ways that dreams can be realized. The beauty of life is that you create it. There is no one who can tell you how to live your life; you must live it as your standards dictate. I take my commitments seriously. The bonds that I make and the promises that come with them is how I lead my life. I find it misguided to become part of something and then abandon it at a whim. If you invest in something invest in it wholeheartedly or allow yourself to move on. Do not change to please the crowd, the status quo. Change to reflect better the principles that you live your life striving towards.
As a person, love yourself. Understand what you need and what causes you to become alive. Overcome the fear that prevents you from engaging with life. Live your life fully and live it the way you choose. Love the way you have chosen to live.
