Fostering Life
December 14th, 2017
Whether we exert control or not - life will still happen. Everything we put into motion, every action, has a complementary reaction. All things have an inner nature: a child will act as a child no matter what we do - a child is supposed to act childish. Instead of impose ourselves we must yield to the inner-nature, acknowledge and respect it. We must be the compliment to each motion. Instead of impose, we must live. As life, so is parenting. There is a need to live with your kids. Guide them as flowing water guides boats and forms canyons: be patient, consistent, and persistent. Get to know your child: who they are, the way they interact with their world. Find balance with them: become their complimentary guide. Do not seek to control or have power over, but instead to introduce them to our world. Be their guide. Live with your child; exist. It is important to role model and guide your child in living their life. Let them know how life is: let them experience it. Teach them it is a balance. Life is pleasure and pain. Life is struggle and ease. One thing will always make way for the next and all things shall pass.
